Dried shrooms have infinite uses. I have lots of ideas here, ranging from simple soups like bisque, to rubs and spice blends crafted for specific species. Take a look and see what looks good to you, and adapt things to the mushrooms in your area.

General Cooking
Here's a quick refresher on the different things you can do with dried mushrooms.
Broths
One of the best places to use those dried fungi are to make broths. This is particularly good for varieties that get tough as they dry, like hen or chicken of the woods. See my list of fungi-based soups under Wild Mushroom Soup Recipes.
Sauces
Whole, crumbled, powdered or pureed, there's all kinds of sauces and condiments you can make with your dried product. One of my favorites is Chef Angelo's Dried Wild Mushroom Ragout-a recipe we used to make at the restaurant.
Powder
Shroom powder is great stuff, but will vary in flavor depending on the species you use.
I like to use them to make rubs most often, but one of the greatest things I've ever made is my sourdough recipe linked above. For a simple rub, try my Lobster Mushroom Crusted Walleye, or Venison Chops with a Black Trumpet Crust .
