Winter Recipes

Here you'll find recipes for winter food. As I live in the Midwest, this means plenty of root vegetables, preserves, potatoes, tubers, nuts, wild rice and the use of things I've put up during the growing season.

Meat and game playing a bigger role in my winter recipes, and you'll of course find plenty of rich soups, a chili recipe or two, braises, and smoked meat.
