    Juneberry / Serviceberry Recipes

    About

Armelanchier, shadbush, serviceberries, shadblow, juneberry. whatever you call them they're delicious, with notes of cherry, almond and apple. These fruit are becoming more and more popular and often planted in landscaping. if you're new to them, check an app like Inaturalist and you may be able to find easily accessible ones near you.

A pork chop on a plate topped with a ripe serviceberry or juneberry sauce with a wild green salad in the background.

If you're new to serviceberries, you'll a mix of recipes they can be used in here, but only a few that reference them specifically. This is by design, as I may use them in combination with many other fruits, or use them frozen in the off-season. For starters, you'll want to take a look at my introductory post on serviceberries to get your bearings.
